Louis Paolino
Louis D. Paolino Jr. brings over three decades of experience in senior executive, corporate board, and real estate investment roles. He’s recognized for his keen judgment and decision making along with his advanced expertise in design, construction, site development, mergers & acquisitions, and market conditions. Mr. Paolino’s business deals have been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Los Angeles Times among others.
Through the decades, he’s built a real estate development portfolio encompassing prime commercial and luxury residential properties from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to Ocean City, New Jersey and The Hamptons. Current development assets include 1400 Meadow Lane, Southampton, NY, with an initial market listing at $53.9 million. Additional assets include retail space, preeminent ocean-front residences, luxury penthouses, and high-end spec homes. Since 2008, he’s focused solely on Paolino Development NY Inc. and on growing his ultra high-end luxury real estate development portfolio.
Earlier in his career, he served as Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer for Eastern Environmental Services, Inc., where he oversaw more than 120 mergers and acquisitions of competitors, consolidating the waste removal industry in the Eastern U.S. markets. During his tenure, Eastern Environmental Services’ annual sales grew from $8.0 million to an annual run rate of more than $450.0 million. While under his leadership, Eastern Environmental Services was purchased and merged with Waste Management Inc. for $1.1 billion dollars. After the merger with Waste Management Inc., Mr. Paolino Jr. served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board at Mace Security International Inc. Under his guidance, Mace Security International grew annual revenues from $2.5 million to more than $65.0 million. Both were publicly traded, Nasdaq-listed companies.
Mr. Paolino Jr. has also served as Vice President of USA Waste Services, Inc. and as President of Soil Remediation of Philadelphia, Inc. He launched his career in real estate development while working under his father at the family’s Philadelphia-based construction company, Joseph Paolino & Sons. A third generation family construction business, they worked throughout the Philadelphia area on large scale projects including the Walt Whitman Bridge, the Philadelphia International Airport, and rehabilitation of PATCO high speed line stations
Mr. Paolino Jr. holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
